Summer 2024 marked the official opening of our lavender farm — and to our surprise, our first harvest arrived nearly a year ahead of schedule! We feel incredibly fortunate to now offer a “you-pick” lavender experience, handmade gifts crafted with oils distilled right here on the farm (including bath bombs, candles, wreaths, and more), and a beautiful backdrop for photographers. The most rewarding part so far? Meeting so many people who are just as excited about this journey as we are. Our story began in 2018, when we purchased a wild and overgrown piece of land in Port Deposit, perched just above the Susquehanna River. We saw the potential immediately and committed to a long-term vision: to clear the land, build our forever home, and create a space where our family — and others — could grow and thrive. We officially moved onto the property in November 2019, and when the world unexpectedly shut down just four months later, our once-neglected hillside became a peaceful haven. We spent those months of isolation building gardens, carving out wooded trails, clearing brush, and planting dozens of different shrubs and flowers — all with our kids by our side. It was a dream come true. Among our favorite plants was lavender, which sparked our curiosity and creativity. We began experimenting with recipes and different ways to use it, and before long, we found ourselves dreaming of entire fields of fragrant blooms. Now, with those fields a reality, we’re absolutely thrilled to share them — and all they’ve inspired — with you, our customers.
